Q. How can I get fee refund for Spring 2020?

Answer

Students are encouraged to withdraw from courses before April 17, to receive a full refund of fees.

 

You must use the Excused Withdrawal procedure described below to withdraw

Refunds will be given on a case-by-case basis after April 17.

Students who wish to drop classes for reasons related to the pandemic must file an “Excused Withdrawal due to COVID-19” petition, available on the student portal.

 

Valid reasons can be anything from illness (self or family), stress caused by the virus, inability to adjust to online learning, etc. The scope is broad.

 

  • Students using this petition will receive an EW on their record.

  • Students who have already dropped for valid reasons and wish to receive a refund must submit the petition.

  • An EW will not be entered if the course has been dropped with no notation on the record, however a refund will be processed.

  • Petitions will be accepted until the end of the semester on May 20.

  • Students are encouraged to submit no later than April 17 to ensure a refund of Enrollment Fees.

  • Refunds will be given on a case-by-case basis after April 17.
