Students enrolled in the current semester can access Chaffey Library's databases using their MyChaffey ID and Password.

The login page for the databases and articles should look like this:

screenshot of login to My Chaffey portal

What's my user ID?

Your Username should include the first letter of your first name, the first letter of your last name (lowercase), and your student ID (ex: ab0861234).

You may also look up your ID by clicking here: https://webadv-prod.ec.chaffey.edu/WAPROD/WAPROD?TOKENIDX=9610519774&SS=1&APP=CORE.

What's my password?

The password should be the same password used to log in to MyChaffey (at least 15 characters long).

  • Password is case-sensitive.
  • Be sure your browser is not auto-loading an old password.
  • Password is NOT your birthdate.

Logging in for the first time: Multi-factor Authentication

If you've never accessed the databases before, you must provide a mobile phone number or a personal email address to complete your account setup. The phone number or email address you provide will then be used to send you a one-time security code each time you log into the portal. In addition to your user ID and password, you must enter that security code to log in to the portal.
