There are two wireless networks available to Chaffey students. More information about wireless access at Chaffey College can be found on the ITS webpage.

Chaffey Wifi

You can access the Chaffey College wireless network in select areas of the Rancho Cucamonga, Chino and Fontana campuses. Select "Chaffey Wi-Fi" on your device's list of available networks and then enter your MyChaffey portal username and password to access Wi-Fi. Users with district-issued mobile network devices do not need to log in. Their mobile device will automatically be authorized to access the Chaffey wireless network.

Eduroam

This wireless network is newly available at Chaffey as of Spring 2025. The new system allows users to:
  • Have easier access to Wi-Fi by decreasing the number of times needed to log in.
  • Have access to Wi-Fi networks at other institutions with Chaffey credentials. Other institutions include CSUSB, Cal State LA, UCI, UCR, UCLA, USC and more.

To connect to eduroam, enter your username/password in the following format:

For Students:
Username: first & last initial + ChaffeyID@chaffey.edu
Password: Your Chaffey Password

For Faculty and Staff:

Username: first.last@chaffey.edu

Password: Your Chaffey password
More detailed instructions and troubleshooting tips are available in the IT knowledgebase.
