Two wireless networks are available to Chaffey students. The ITS webpage has more information about wireless access at Chaffey College.

Chaffey Wifi

You can access the Chaffey College wireless network in select areas of the Rancho Cucamonga, Chino, and Fontana campuses. Select "Chaffey Wi-Fi" on your device's list of available networks and then enter your MyChaffey portal username and password to access Wi-Fi. Users with district-issued mobile network devices do not need to log in. Their mobile device will automatically be authorized to access the Chaffey wireless network.

Eduroam

The new system allows users to:

  • Have easier access to Wi-Fi by decreasing the number of times needed to log in.
  • Chaffey credentials allow you to access Wi-Fi networks at other institutions, including CSUSB, Cal State LA, UCI, UCR, UCLA, USC, and more.

To connect to eduroam, enter your username/password in the following format:

For Students:

Username: first & last initial + ChaffeyID@chaffey.edu

Password: Your Chaffey Password

For Faculty and Staff:

Username: first.last@chaffey.edu

Password: Your Chaffey password

More detailed instructions and troubleshooting tips are available in the IT knowledgebase.
